These are some of the standards we include in every Bourbeau home, and some of the upgrades we offer. The listed available options are just suggestions. Remember, this is your home — your ideas — your dreams. We will work with you on any and all options you may have in mind. Just let us know what you would like and we will give you a quote.

EXCAVATING & SITE

Excavating & Site

STANDARDS INCLUDED

  • Excavate and backfill foundation with sand or onsite material if it offers adequate drainage
  • Exterior footing drains covered with 8" of 3/4" crushed stone
  • Interior footing drains
  • 3/4" crushed stone under cellar slab, 8" thick
  • 15' wide driveway from property line to garage with a turnaround where conditions permit
  • Driveway with topsoil removed, road fabric installed, 6–8" gravel base, rock fines topcoat at completion
  • All disturbed soil within 75' (open lot) or 50' (wooded lot) finished landscaped with existing soils and lawn seeded
  • 3' wide crushed stone sidewalk to front entry; 16" stone perimeter around foundation

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

  • Larger lawn finished area (price varies with site conditions)
  • Paved driveway (recommended after one winter for settling)
  • Additional 15" stone base for future pavement (priced per running foot of 15'-wide drive)
  • Custom landscape lawn with 4" sifted topsoil
  • Rolled-out turf instead of seed
